Although I have loved photography for many years, it wasn’t until 2013 that I finally decided to display my work publicly. I’m fortunate and thankful to live in an artist community where people are so supportive and encouraging. Aside from photography workshops or photo tours, I try to improve my skills, photographic style and eye through reading, studying the masters, and following my favorite professional photographers on various media outlets. One of La Veta’s own fantastic photographers, Carol Putnam, has helped me a lot over the years and I continue to call on her for advice and guidance. I also try practicing the ABCs of photography - Aways Bring Camera!
