Shawn Kingston Bridges has been an artist her entire life. Though a multi-media designer at heart, her focus lies in acrylic painting. Her sometimes unconventional use of vivid color is not a result of her formal art education, but a reaction against it. She is not bound by the accepted scholarly canon of fine art. She pulls inspiration not only from the masters, but from the beauty of everyday life as well.
