Save the Date for the 2021 Holiday Arts Fundraiser & Culinary Celebration!

After the cancellation of the 2020 Holiday Arts Fundraiser, the arts community in La Veta is excited to resume our celebration of creativity in 2021!

Please plan to join us on December 4, 2021 from 5 pm to 7:30 pm to stroll La Veta's galleries and enjoy festive foods and beverages with your neighbors and friends - all while supporting community arts programs. Donations to attend the Fundraiser are $25 per person.

This year's festive art walk will include your favorite La Veta art galleries, including Shalawalla Gallery and Batik Studio, SPACe Gallery, La Veta School of the Arts, and Artisans on Main. Several new shops will also debut: H's Place, Marta Moore at The Salon, Crafted in Colorado, and Silvershoe. Drawings for prizes will be created by local artists and galleries, and holiday music will be provided by the Francisco Center for the Performaing Arts Show Choir.

In conjunction with the Holiday Fundraiser, the Tradition Makers Market, a "pop up" arts and crafts shop, will be in the Silvershoe from 10 am to 7 pm to kick off the holiday season. Contact Sandy Dolak at 719-251-1271 or sandy(at)dolak.biz for more information about the Tradition Makers Market.

If you are unable to attend this year's Holiday Arts Fundraiser & Culinary Celebration, please consider making a donation. Money raised goes toward several arts programs in La Veta, including The SPACe Gallery, the La Veta School of the Arts, arts programming through the La Veta Public Library, and The Francisco Center for the Performing Arts. It will also help pay for signs on Hwy 160 for "Fine Art Galleries".

Tickets to the event are available at H's Place, Artisans on Main, and the Spanish Peaks Arts Council (SPACe Gallery). They can also be reserved by credit card online at the SPACe website at https://spanishpeaksarts.org/2021-holiday-culinary-celebration/

Face masks and social distancing will be strongly encouraged.
